Speech-Language Pathologist in Tacoma, WA

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide services in a K-12 educational setting for the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Tacoma, WA. This contract position offers an opportunity to support students' communication skills during the summer term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Track student progress and document therapy activities and outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary strategies to support student success.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech-language services.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred.
