Reporting to the Senior Service Line Director of Therapy Services, this leadership role is directing inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital and satellite locations in Stow, Tallmadge, Bath, and Green. In this role, you will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, quality of care, caregiver engagement, and growth across the region.
A caregiver in this role works Monday-Friday onsite, 7:30AM - 4:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for assigned rehabilitation therapy practices across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Ensure consistent application of best practices, regulatory standards, and systemwide clinical policies across all therapy locations.
Develop and implement clinical care standards, policies, and productivity benchmarks to drive quality and efficiency.
Lead caregiver engagement initiatives including staffing, recruitment, onboarding, education, and retention.
Oversee site management, performance improvement, and operational workflow enhancements.
Plan, prepare, and execute approved budgets and financial activities across the region.
Serve as a clinical expert and role model by providing direct patient care in specialty areas as needed.
Lead the implementation of new patient care services and programs to ensure a competitive market position and strong clinical outcomes.
Monitor patient satisfaction and outcomes data to drive continuous improvement.
Support strategic planning, marketing, and business development initiatives related to rehabilitation services.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Pathology
Licensed as a PT, OT, or ST in the state of employment
Minimum of 7 years of therapy management experience
Strong understanding of healthcare delivery models, product lines, and matrix reporting structures
Demonstrated experience in rehabilitation operations, financial oversight, reimbursement, strategic planning, and program development
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Advanced degree in a relevant area of specialty preferred
