Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract A part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to support students in a K-8 school setting. This contract position runs for the 2025-2026 school year, providing occupational therapy services across Kindergarten through 8th grade. Location: Warren, MI Position Details: Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week Contract duration: August 26, 2025, through June 12, 2026 Caseload includes K-8 students with various occupational therapy needs Responsibilities: Assist in delivering occupational therapy treatments and activities to students Follow treatment plans developed by the supervising occupational therapist Document student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student development Adapt interventions as needed to support individual student goals Qualifications: Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-8 Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to student-centered care and development This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's educational and developmental progress in a school environment.
