A part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opportunity is available to support K-8 students within a dynamic educational environment. This contract position runs from August 26, 2025, through June 12, 2026, with an anticipated commitment of approximately 10 hours per week. The role focuses on delivering tailored occupational therapy services to a K-8 caseload, promoting students' functional skills and participation in the school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy interventions aligned with students individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support developmental goals
- Monitor and document student progress to adjust treatment plans effectively
- Utilize therapeutic techniques to enhance fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working with children in a school-based setting preferred
