School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Bishopville, South Carolina

A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide specialized support for students in grades PreK through 5th at a K-12 school setting in Bishopville, SC. This contract position spans the traditional school year, offering a structured, 37.5-hour workweek from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Contract Duration : August 1, 2025 May 29, 2026
Caseload : Approximately 56 students, PreK-5th grade
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Schools Assigned : One, with a dedicated therapy space provided
Work Model : Itinerant, with paid travel between student sessions as needed
IEP System : Training provided on the districts system
Administrative Time : Indirect hours offered, including paid team meetings
Supervision : Not required for this contractor position

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
• Relevant teaching certification for the state
• Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
• Ability to provide comprehensive speech therapy services and collaborate effectively with educational teams
• Familiarity with caseload management and scheduling in a school environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to assigned students
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
