Travel Respiratory Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 5+ years of critical care and neonatal/pediatric experience for a night shift position in Colorado.

• Work in a cardiopulmonary setting providing respiratory care and diagnostic procedures to patients of all ages and acuity levels
• Night shifts consist of 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts, Thursday through Tuesday, followed by 8 days off, with on-call required
• Care for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients with varying acuity
• Specialized in critical care and ventilator management
• Responsibilities include providing respiratory care and performing diagnostic procedures across all patient age groups
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting patients in a critical care environment
• No local candidates accepted; must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Optional housing available to travelers with fully furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments near the hospital (no pets allowed)
• Shift includes on-call duties as part of the schedule

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; CRT not accepted
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Current Colorado RRT license in good standing is required
• Must have completed an approved Respiratory Therapy program as required for licensure
• Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required
• Documented experience in neonatal and pediatric respiratory therapy
• Excellent clinical skills in critical care and ventilator management
• Proof of flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
