Travel Respiratory Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a night shift Respiratory Therapist with a current Colorado license and 2 years of experience for a cardiopulmonary care assignment.

• Work in a cardiopulmonary care setting
• Night shift schedule from 6 pm to 6 am, 36 hours per week
• Schedule includes some call and weekends, primarily Sunday to Tuesday with an occasional fourth night
• Performs both invasive and noninvasive diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures
• Responsible for diagnostic testing including pulmonary function testing, PadNet, sleep studies, blood gas analysis, and other relevant tests
• Performs airway management and mechanical ventilation, both invasive and non-invasive
• Participates in discharge planning, case management, and public education on cardiopulmonary wellness
• Attendance at mandatory safety in-services and department meetings required

• Current, active Colorado Respiratory Therapist license required if applicable
• Certified or registered as CRT or RRT
• Minimum of 2 years respiratory therapy experience required
• Completion of a college or technical respiratory therapy program
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RPSGT
