Were looking for an exceptional Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our Outpatient Therapy team in Wausau, WI and help us make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families.
What Youll Do As a Pediatric Speech Therapist , youll assess, diagnose, and treat children with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Youll work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Speech and Language Rehabilitation Assess and address word finding, sentence formulation, and speech production
• Developmental Support Promote developmental milestones, feeding, and functional life skills in children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and motor deficits
• Swallowing Rehabilitation Evaluate swallow function, and implement diet modifications and compensatory strategies to promote safe feeding and nutrition
• Design individualized treatment plans that support communication growth, developmental needs, and quality of life

HOURS: Full Time or .8 FTE, 64 hours every pay period Monday Friday varied day hours

What We're Looking For

• Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
• Background in psychology, special education, learning disabilities, or general science is a plus
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting, especially with pediatric or neurologically impaired patients
• Current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathology licensure
