A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support an early childhood program in Chicago, IL. This contract position spans a full school year, providing services approximately 2.5 days per week (18 hours total). The role focuses on delivering speech and language support to young learners within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in early childhood students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and parent conferences to discuss student progress and interventions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working within early childhood education settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.

Additional Opportunities:

  • Full-time positions are also available for elementary maternity leave coverage, spanning August through October and August through December.
