THE POSITION
Warren State Hospital is seeking a hard working, passionate, and caring Licensed Occupational Therapist that wants to make a positive difference in the lives of consumers that reside at the facility. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
You are responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating occupational therapy services for psychiatric consumers of Warren State Hospital. You will provide timely assessments and recommendations to the treatment team and implement individualized treatment approaches to assist the consumer in reaching established goals. In addition, you are also responsible for providing assessment and treatment for specialized physical disability/injury occurrences as ordered by the physician and assigned by the supervisor.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirements:
+ Possession of a license to practice occupational therapy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Occupational Therapy Education and Licensure.
Other Requirements:
+ PA residency requirement ( is currentlywaivedfor this title.
+ You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
+ A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
+ This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
+ Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
