This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech and language services in an elementary school setting in Pasadena, TX. The role is part-time, with a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week, and the potential for increased hours based on need. The assignment runs through the current school year and is available immediately.
The primary responsibilities include conducting re-evaluations for older students, delivering direct therapy services, performing initial evaluations, and assisting with IEP writing. The focus will be largely on pre-kindergarten and elementary-aged children. This role requires strong skills in speech-language pathology and familiarity with school-based service delivery models.
Qualifications or desired experience include:
- Valid certification as an SLP with CCC, currently in CFY, or an SLP licensed for school settings
- Consideration will also be given to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) or Clinicians in a Clinical Fellowship (CF) if supervision can be provided
- Experience with evaluations, therapy interventions, and IEP development
- Ability to work collaboratively within an educational environment
