An opportunity is available for a Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education, serving students from early childhood through age 21 in a K-12 setting. This itinerant role requires travel to multiple school sites and involves managing a caseload of 16 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Licensure in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education
- Experience working with students from early childhood through to 21 years old
- Ability to effectively manage and support a caseload of approximately 16 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across multiple school locations
Location:
- Position based in Littleton, CO, requiring travel between various school sites
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instructional services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Travel regularly to assigned school sites to provide consistent support
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records
Employment Details:
- Contract duration: August 11, 2025 to May 22, 2026
- Part-time position with 30 hours per week
