A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a dynamic K-12 school setting in Hesperia, CA, starting as soon as possible for the remainder of the current school year, with the potential to continue into the next school year. This role offers a full-time contract with a schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours per week, providing a rewarding opportunity to support a diverse student population.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of communication challenges, including autism, intellectual delays, and specific learning disabilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement effective speech and language interventions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating an inclusive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid certification as a School Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual delays, and learning disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
