A rewarding opportunity is available for an Audiologist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Broken Arrow, OK. This contract position focuses on providing essential audiological services that promote the academic success and well-being of children with hearing impairments or auditory processing difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and screenings for students.
- Develop and implement individualized hearing plans and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student communication needs.
- Recommend and fit appropriate hearing assistive technology devices.
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with district and state regulations.
- Provide training and consultation to school staff regarding hearing-related issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology.
- Valid state licensure or certification in Audiology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in K-12 educational environments.
- Strong knowledge of hearing disorders, testing methods, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
