This contract position focuses on providing essential audiological services that promote the academic success and well-being of children with hearing impairments or auditory processing difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and screenings for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized hearing plans and intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student communication needs.
  • Recommend and fit appropriate hearing assistive technology devices.
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Provide training and consultation to school staff regarding hearing-related issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology.
  • Valid state licensure or certification in Audiology.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in K-12 educational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of hearing disorders, testing methods, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
