A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Audiologist to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting located in Oklahoma City, OK. This role focuses on supporting students hearing health to enhance their educational experience, working closely with educators and families to address hearing-related needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing screenings and diagnostic assessments for students
- Identify and diagnose hearing disorders and related auditory processing issues
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students with hearing needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication and learning
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Educate staff and families on hearing health and accommodations
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification to practice as an Audiologist
- Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and school staff
- Knowledge of hearing aid technology and assistive listening devices
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently while providing high-quality care
