A Contract Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available at a K-12 school located in Stayton, OR. This role involves supporting students' occupational therapy needs under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans for students
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions to support students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating an inclusive learning environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Oregon licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
