Responsibilities:
- Conduct hearing screenings and audiometric evaluations for students.
- Identify hearing impairments and recommend appropriate interventions and accommodations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to develop individualized support plans.
- Provide counseling and education to students and families regarding hearing health.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and state regulations.
- Assist in the selection and fitting of hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
- Participate in staff training and offer resources on hearing health awareness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as an Audiologist.
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments.
