A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Audiologist to provide services in a K-12 school setting within Sacramento, CA. This role involves supporting students with hearing and auditory processing needs to enhance their educational experience and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and screenings for students.
- Develop and implement individualized hearing care plans.
- Collaborate with educators, speech-language pathologists, and families to support students auditory and communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulations related to audiology services in schools.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student intervention strategies.
- Provide training and resources to staff regarding hearing assistance technology and accommodations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current state licensure and certification as an Audiologist.
- Experience working with children in educational settings, preferably K-12.
