An opportunity is available for a skilled Audiologist to provide essential hearing and communication support services within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is located in Stone Mountain, GA, and focuses on delivering comprehensive audiological evaluations, interventions, and recommendations to support student success.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting hearing assessments and screenings for students across all grade levels.
- Developing individualized hearing management plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and healthcare providers.
- Fitting and maintaining hearing assistive technology and devices.
- Providing counseling and support related to auditory and communication needs.
- Documenting services and maintaining accurate records in compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated care.
- Staying current with best practices and innovations in pediatric audiology and educational audiology services.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology.
- State licensure as an Audiologist.
