Description

• Deliver targeted speech therapy sessions that focus on enhancing communication skills, language proficiency, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to devise comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond the clinical setting.
• Contribute to inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed to ensure a seamless therapy process.
• Keep meticulous and timely records that adhere to all applicable guidelines and standards.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of hire.
