Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Johnson City, New York
Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel contract in Johnson City, NY. Join a collaborative clinical team in a supportive environment while exploring New Yorks scenic Southern Tier.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders across inpatient and/or outpatient settings

• Administer breathing treatments and perform pulmonary function tests

• Monitor patient responses and document care accurately

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop respiratory care plans

• Educate patients and families on disease management and home care techniques

Requirements:

• Active RRT credential (NBRC)

• Current New York State Respiratory Therapist license (or willingness to obtain)

• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience

• BLS certification (AHA) required; ACLS preferred

• Strong clinical knowledge of respiratory physiology and pathophysiology

• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills

Compensation:

• Pay range starting at $23.44 per hour

• Weekly stipends for housing and meals available (if eligible)
