Responsibilities

- Design tailored therapy regimens that target immediate milestones and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
- Administer individualized speech therapies concentrating on aspects of communication, language fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
- Engage collaboratively with fellow therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate integrated care plans.
- Provide education resources for patients and families to encourage progress outside clinical settings.
- Assisting with periodic inpatient speech evaluations and treatments, ensuring seamless care throughout the patients journey.
- Keep scrupulous and prompt records in accordance with state, federal, and agency regulations.
- Remain updated with the latest field advancements via professional education and collaboration with peers.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university.
- Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Desirable: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Mandatory: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of entering the role.
