The Hawaii Pacific Health Research Institute (HPHRI) is dedicated to expanding our knowledge and investigation of the most advanced methods of health prevention in Hawaii. HPHRI researchers conduct more than 200 clinical trials within the Hawaii Pacific Health network of hospitals Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children, Pali Momi Medical Center, Straub Medical Center and Wilcox Medical Center. The Institute oversees an impressive array of research projects, covering areas such as oncology, cardiology, emergency medicine and neonatology. It manages a multi-million dollar budget and a dedicated staff that includes more than 25 clinical research coordinators and up to 75 physicians. Our studies assure patient safety in all aspects of research as they break new ground in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

The purpose of the Kapi`olani Early Intervention Program is to provide early intervention services focusing on family support and developmental therapy services to families with infants and young children (birth to three years of age) who have medically complex issues. Kapi`olani Early Intervention Program provides services based on the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Regulations Page, Part C federal guidelines and program funding from the Department of Health Early Intervention Program. The intent of early intervention services is to work closely with families by providing information and appropriate developmental strategies to meet their childs needs. The target goal is to coach families to incorporate functional strategies, techniques, and methods to be used during daily family routines. Kapi`olani Early Intervention Program provides home-based services for families throughout the entire island of Oahu.

As a Physical Therapist, you will provide compassionate rehabilitation in the form of physical therapy services and consultation for inpatients and outpatients at medical center locations and contract sites. We are looking for someone sensitive and dedicated, with strong patient care and interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawaiis people.

**Minimum Qualifications:** Current Hawaii Physical Therapy license and Current American Heart Association Heart Saver - AED CPR card. Valid drivers license and current Hawaii auto insurance with access to a vehicle.

**Preferred Qualifications:** One (1) year general physical therapy experience. Experience with Pediatric or Adult populations.
