Responsibilities: - Performsand documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient'scondition. - Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate toproblems identified and involves the patient/family according totheir capabilities and desires. - Provides education to the patientand family/caregiver about patient deficits and informationregarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment andsupport programs. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge fromtherapy services and treatment setting. - Performs all underlyingduties of the job including but not limited to supervising supportpersonnel according to established licensing laws, stateregulations and practice standards. - Within scope of job, requirescritical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability towork with minimal supervision. Requirements: - Bachelor'sdegree in Occupational Therapy. - Current licensure with ColoradoDepartment of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy.- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. BLS through theAmerican Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for theProfessional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS orCPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
