Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Piscataway, NJ

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school setting in Piscataway, NJ. This is a contract position for the 2025-2026 school year, starting in late September and ending in June. The role supports students from PreK through 8th grade across one to two schools within the district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students based on individual IEP goals
• Manage caseload across assigned schools, integrating therapy within a recognized caseload cap model
• Participate in team meetings and complete required documentation using the districts IEP system (training provided)
• Collaborate with administration and educational staff to support student communication needs
• Maintain professional standards and confidentiality in all interactions

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational environment
• Ability to work effectively in a part-time role (2 days per week)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility to travel between assigned schools as necessary

Work Details:

• Schedule: 2 days per week during school hours
• Services provided at designated therapy spaces within schools
• Administrative time for documentation and team collaboration included
• Supervision and support available as needed
