A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school setting in Piscataway, NJ. This is a contract position for the 2025-2026 school year, starting in late September and ending in June. The role supports students from PreK through 8th grade across one to two schools within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students based on individual IEP goals
- Manage caseload across assigned schools, integrating therapy within a recognized caseload cap model
- Participate in team meetings and complete required documentation using the districts IEP system (training provided)
- Collaborate with administration and educational staff to support student communication needs
- Maintain professional standards and confidentiality in all interactions
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in an educational environment
- Ability to work effectively in a part-time role (2 days per week)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel between assigned schools as necessary
Work Details:
