Speech and Language Pathologist in San Jose, CA

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in San Jose, CA. This contract position spans the entire school year, providing vital support to students with communication challenges and contributing to their academic and social success.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
• Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting therapeutic interventions accordingly.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the creation of inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications and experience:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Proven experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
