POSITION SUMMARY:# Organizes and supervises respiratory care operations and staff for an assigned second, third or weekend shift.# As a working supervisor, routinely provides routine and advanced respiratory care and cardiology procedures to critical and non-critical patients.## EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: # Minimum Required:# Associate Degree in Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy from an approved school of respiratory care technology.# Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner (CRT will have 3 months to obtain RRT).# Thorough knowledge of procedures and techniques applicable to respiratory care gained through acute care experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Candidate must demonstrate organizational, communications and leadership skills, through charge therapist experience for at least 1 year. BLS#certification required; renewal required bi-annually. NRP certification. Possess a valid NC Respiratory Care License.# # Preferred:RRT in Respiratory Therapy. ##
