3 Openings Job Description: Tahoma School District in Maple Valley, WA is hiring three full-time Occupational Therapists (OTs) for the 2025-2026 school year. These are onsite-only positions , providing critical support to students with a variety of needs across the district. Key Responsibilities: Provide school-based occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 30 students per therapist Evaluate students and develop individualized goals and intervention plans Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to support students' participation and performance in educational tasks Participate in IEP meetings and provide required documentation and progress updates Travel between school sites as needed (within district boundaries) Caseload Details: Student ages and needs vary Approximately 30 students per therapist Assignments to be finalized closer to start date Qualifications: Must hold a valid Washington Occupational Therapy license (or be willing to obtain before the start of the school year) Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Must be able to work full-time and onsite Additional Information: These positions are for Occupational Therapists only COTA applications are not being accepted at this time District provides a supportive team environment and resources for student-centered care Why Join Tahoma School District?
