Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrated on aspects such as communication, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Work cohesively alongside a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, families, and caregivers to develop holistic care strategies.
• Engage in educating patients and their families, fostering progress beyond the walls of the clinic.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and therapies when required, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout each patients journey.

Education

• A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not been achieved yet.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within the first 30 days of employment.
