Certified Recreational Therapist - Behavioral Health

IMC is looking to hire a Certified Recreational Therapist for the new IMC Behavioral Health unit. Under supervision of the Program Manager, theTherapist will be an active member of the interdisciplinary team, with dutiesto include but not limited to: Assessment and screening, development of clinicalImpressions and recommendations, treatment planning and treatment plan reviews,participation in team conferences, intake and referral, provision of individualgroup, family and couples counseling; as well as supervision and otherclinical duties.

Qualifications:

• Provides professional mental health serviceswithin the scope and ethical boundaries allowed by his/her profession
• Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreational Therapy or related field required.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Two or more years experience in recreation in a healthcare setting with knowledge of the patient population served by the facility is required.
• Certification on Recreational Therapy and CPI certifications
• CPR and de-escalation certificationrequired
