Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work full-time in a school-based setting in Yorkville, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional who enjoys working with elementary-aged students and making a positive impact in their academic and functional development.

Position Overview:
As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students' participation and performance in daily school activities. This role will primarily serve elementary school students, delivering services outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborating with educators and support staff to foster student success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the supervising OT in delivering direct therapy services to students

• Support in executing treatment plans and interventions

• Document student progress and maintain service logs

• Participate in team meetings and communicate with families as appropriate

• Help adapt materials and classroom environments to meet student needs

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Active Illinois COTA license

• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Comfortable working with a team-oriented approach
