A public school district in Olympia, WA is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathology professionals to fill four full-time positions for the upcoming school year. These contract roles provide an opportunity to work with students across a range of grade levels in a supportive K-12 environment.
Available Positions:
- Multiple elementary openings (grades K-6), 37.5 hours per week
- Developmental preschool position (ages 3-5, not kindergarten), with potential to include some elementary students, 37.5 hours per week
- Secondary level position spanning two buildings (grades 7-12), 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support services to a caseload of approximately 60 students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track progress and document services in compliance with district and state regulations
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington State SLP license
- Eligibility for the Education Staff Associate (ESA) credential
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
