Job Responsibilities
- Assess individuals across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized tests and observational methods.
- Create tailored treatment plans focusing on both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions centering on communication, language, fluency, voice, and overall swallowing function.
- Engage with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families to develop integrated care approaches.
- Educate patients and their families to empower their journey towards progress outside the clinical setting.
- Contribute to inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless transitions in patient care.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards.

Educational Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
Required Certifications
- State license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
