This contract position spans the full school year, serving students who require speech-language support. Key responsibilities include: Delivering comprehensive speech-language pathology services to assigned caseloads Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Conducting thorough speech and language evaluations Writing detailed reports and presenting findings to relevant educational teams and families Completing regular progress reports to track student development Maintaining accurate data and records in compliance with district and regulatory requirements Qualifications and experience desired for candidates: Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or credentials as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with school-based experience Strong understanding of school-based speech-language programs and familiarity with state and federal special education guidelines Proven ability to assess, plan, and implement effective interventions for diverse student populations Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining data integrity and timely documentation This position is onsite only, requiring the clinician to work within the school environment in Williamsburg, VA.
