Position Details This full-time virtual position encompasses 35 hours per week, focusing on high school students with complex communication needs. Your caseload of 45 students will span grades 9-12, addressing advanced language skills, social communication, and transition-focused therapy goals. Work directly with students preparing for post-secondary success while collaborating with vocational counselors and transition specialists. Primary Responsibilities Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy through interactive virtual sessions

Conduct formal and informal assessments to determine appropriate intervention strategies

Create engaging digital therapy materials tailored to adolescent learning preferences

Support students' communication goals related to workplace readiness and social skills

Maintain comprehensive case management including progress monitoring and reporting

Coordinate with special education teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Provide consultation services to teachers regarding communication accommodations

Required Credentials Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field

Valid ASHA CCC-SLP certification in good standing

Current Ohio Speech-Language Pathology license

Minimum 2 years of school-based therapy experience required

Experience with high school populations and transition planning preferred

Proficiency in virtual therapy delivery and digital assessment tools

Technology setup including webcam, headset, and dedicated workspace

Specialized Focus Areas You'll address complex language disorders, pragmatic communication challenges, and voice disorders while supporting students with co-occurring conditions such as autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
