Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Full-Time Somerville, MA

Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring a licensed and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Somerville, Massachusetts. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to work with K12 students, helping them build critical communication skills that support both academic achievement and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services in both individual and group settings

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations to assess students communication needs

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure cohesive support plans

• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines

• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and therapy goals

• Monitor student progress and make data-driven adjustments to intervention strategies

• Treat a broad range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

• Active Massachusetts SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility

• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered services

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
