Your Role
  • Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to support their functional aspirations

  • Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide exceptional, holistic care
  • Guide Patients and Families: Teach therapy techniques to patients and their families to help maintain progress outside of clinical settings
  • Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient development and adapt treatment strategies to ensure they remain on track
Education Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized program
  • Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are both encouraged and supported
Certifications Needed
  • A valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
