Job Description
  • Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies focused on helping them achieve their desired functional outcomes
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and functionality in daily activities
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical providers, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, multidimensional care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapy activities and techniques to promote ongoing progress at home
  • Document and Monitor Progress: Keep track of clinical advancements and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patients remain aligned with their goals
Education
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Continuing education and post-graduation certifications encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
