A full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Melrose, NM. This is a contract role for the school year (NSY), providing an opportunity to work onsite with a full caseload across grades K-12.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist certified Speech Language Pathologists with assessments and interventions for students with speech and language needs
- Implement individualized therapy plans under supervision
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with educational teams to support communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of service plans
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license is required
- Prior professional experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with children across all grade levels
Hours and Location:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite position in Melrose, NM
