- Create customized treatment plans aimed at fulfilling both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
- Implement individualized speech therapy sessions that address aspects of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to formulate cohesive care strategies.
- Provide education to patients and families, enhancing therapeutic progress beyond clinical settings.
- Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the treatment journey.
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation adhering to state, federal, and organizational standards.

Education
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of starting employment.
