Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Provide skilled pediatric occupational therapy services in a dynamic K-12 school setting to support students' developmental and functional needs. This full-time, itinerant contract position spans the entire school year and involves delivering Occupational Therapy Assistance across multiple locations within the district based on caseload demands. Key Responsibilities: Implement occupational therapy intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Support students across grades K-12 to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities. Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure effective service delivery. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with school and regulatory requirements. Adjust therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners in various educational environments. Desired Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Experience working with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload across multiple school sites. Strong communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with IDEA and IEP processes preferred.
