Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available within a K-12 school setting. This contract role spans the full school year, providing support across multiple locations within the district based on occupational therapy needs. Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in various school environments. Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, educators, and other support staff to implement individualized treatment plans. Evaluate student progress and adjust interventions to promote functional skills necessary for academic success. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and regulatory requirements. Travel itinerantly throughout the district to serve multiple schools based on caseload and needs. Qualifications: Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license. Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 educational environment. Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and interventions suitable for diverse learning needs. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Flexibility to travel to different school sites within the district.
