Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide speech-language support to K-12 students with mild to moderate needs in a school setting. The role is open for the contract period from August 13, 2024, to June 22, 2025, with 37.5 hours per week scheduled. The caseload will focus on addressing speech and language concerns among students across all grade levels. Required qualifications include: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLPs pursuing full certification Eligibility or certification to practice as an SLP in school settings Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct speech-language therapy to students with mild to moderate communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school guidelines Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed Location: School-based position in Taylor, Texas Benefits of this role include the chance to work within a supportive educational team, professional development opportunities, and a structured contract schedule aligned with the school year.
