Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract A contracted opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide specialized support within a K-12 educational setting in Moreno Valley, CA. This role focuses on delivering occupational therapy services to students, promoting their ability to engage and succeed in educational and developmental activities. Responsibilities include: Collaborating with school therapists and educators to implement individualized treatment plans Conducting therapy sessions that enhance students' motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Assisting students in developing skills necessary for academic and social success Participating in team meetings and communicating with families to ensure coordinated care Qualifications: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience in healthcare and school-based settings preferred Knowledge of K-12 student developmental and educational needs Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team This contract position spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in students' educational experiences and personal growth.
