DESCRIPTION

Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' communication abilities, including speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.

Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.

Therapy Sessions: Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to address speech disorders, language skills, and swallowing difficulties.

Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, and educators, to ensure cohesive and integrated care for patients.

Education and Counseling: Educate patients, families, and caregivers about communication disorders and provide guidance on therapy techniques and home exercises.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of patient assessments, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
