Description

• Create tailored therapeutic plans targeting immediate objectives while addressing ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy focusing on all aspects of communication including language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to design integrated treatment strategies.
• Educate patients and their families to foster progress beyond clinical settings.
• Participate in occasional inpatient assessments and therapeutic interventions to ensure consistent care throughout recovery pathways.
• Keep precise and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
