Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the full school year at an elementary school serving grades K-4 in Andover, KS. This contract role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in young students, with the goal of supporting their academic and social development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by educators, parents, or specialists. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that align with federal, state, and district standards. Deliver direct therapy services in individual and small-group formats tailored to student needs. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to embed speech-language goals within classroom environments. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, complete necessary reports, and adhere to deadlines. Actively participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development. Support students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods when appropriate. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Current SLP license and/or Department of Education certification valid in Kansas.
