A K-12 school in Sonora, CA is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech therapy services throughout the academic school year. This full-time, direct hire position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse student population, supporting their communication development through in-person and teletherapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapy interventions for pediatric students across various speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in professional development and school-based meetings as necessary
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathology License (SLP License) is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience or training in pediatric speech therapy within educational or healthcare settings
- Ability to deliver teletherapy services effectively
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or eligibility to complete it
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to work within an interdisciplinary team
