This contract role offers an opportunity to support a varied caseload, ranging from 40 to 50 students, across both elementary and secondary levels. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to K-12 students to enhance their educational performance. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized therapy plans. Assess student needs and progress to ensure effective interventions. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies. Adapt therapy techniques to support a diverse student population in both elementary and secondary school environments. Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license with experience in healthcare and school-based settings. Strong understanding of pediatric developmental needs and school environment dynamics. Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students efficiently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work varied hours aligning with elementary and secondary schedules. Work Schedule & Details: Employment type: Full-time, contract for the 2025-2026 school year. School calendar days: 181 days. Work hours: Elementary shift from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM; Secondary shift from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Daily hours: 7.5 hours (7 hours of work plus 30 minutes unpaid lunch). Weekly hours: 35 hours.
