Skilled Nursing Facility Occupational Therapist

Category Therapy - Skilled - OT Job Type Contract A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for a K-12 school setting in Ferndale, WA, supporting students throughout the academic year. This contract role runs from August 27, 2025, through June 12, 2026, encompassing 181 days of service with a caseload of 40-50 students. Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress Maintain detailed documentation of services and student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in both healthcare and school environments Familiarity with pediatric populations and K-12 school settings Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students effectively Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to supporting student development and academic success Work Schedule: Full-time employment with 7.5 hours per day (7 hours work plus 30 minutes unpaid lunch) Elementary school hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Secondary school hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 35 hours per week This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences through specialized occupational therapy services.
